Kenneth Ramirez becomes new chief of Nissan Americas
Nissan Americas has announced senior leadership changes in in Latin America and therefore the Caribbean and company communications, all effective from one April.
Kenneth Ramirez has been named director, Nissan Latin America & the Caribbean and Paula Angelo is appointed director, company communications, Nissan Americas.
Ramirez, 42, are going to be liable for Nissan's sales in Latin America, that cowl thirty seven markets throughout central and south America and therefore the Caribbean. He can report back to Shoichi Miyatani, company vice chairman for the regions.
Ramirez joined Nissan from Motorola in 2002 and most recently was director of the programme management workplace for Nissan Mexico, with oversight for vehicle programmes. His Nissan career has conjointly included engineering and programme management within the US, Japan and Mexico.
Ramirez succeeds Hidenori Tsukamoto, who can come to Japan for a replacement assignment with Nissan Motor. throughout his time within the Americas, Tsukamoto was instrumental in growing the automaker's market share in Latin America and contributed to a volume increase of over hour.
Angelo, 48, joined Nissan in 2007 and is currently director, internal communications, Nissan Americas. In her new role she's going to report back to David Reuter, vice chairman, company communications and can be liable for all communications activities as well as producing communications, philanthropic efforts and crisis and strategic communications.
Angelo has over twenty years of company communications and public affairs expertise, most recently at Delphi.
